Gov. Ezebunwo Nysom Wike in his speech on curbing the further spread of the pandemic Covid-19 in the state, has ordered the transport companies on a specified number of passangers to convey.
As a way of curbing the spread of Covid-19, Rivers State Government has issued the following directives:
- 14 seater bus will carry only 10 passengers, including the driver and conductor.
- Mini bus will carry a total of 5 passengers, including the driver.
- Tricycle (Keke) will carry a total of 2 passengers.
- Taxi will carry total of 3 passengers. 1 in front seat, 2 at the back seat.
This will take effect from Monday 23, 2020.
