Buhari mourns Brighter Grammar author, Phebean Ogundipe

President Muhammadu Buhari has mourned the author of the famous English textbook, Brighter Grammar, and co-author of Practical English, Phebean Ogundipe, who passed on at 92.

He extended his condolences to the deceased’s family, friends, the academia, former students of the educationist, and indeed all Nigerians, who drank from the fountain of knowledge of the erudite teacher.

In a statement by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the president said Ogundipe’s life was defined by her passion for education and uncommon dedication to serve others, stressing that her legacy would live on.
