The Federal Government has revealed that it plans to disinfect and decontamination of schools nationwide. Muhammad Mahmood, the Minister of Environment disclosed this at the Presidential Task Force briefing on COVID-19 in Abuja. He said the Federal Ministry of Environment would get the data of schools nationwide from the Federal Ministry of Education before commencing.
School are still closed due to the ongoing pandemic, and this is the right time to disinfect such environments.

Sanwo-Olu says 3000 samples yet to tested due to shortage of reagents
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has revealed that 3,000 samples are yet to be tested in Lagos. The Governor blamed the development on global shortage of reagent for molecular testing of the samples. He said the state is hoping to get the reagent soon to test the samples collected.
FG vows to persecute those who violators of social distancing order
The Presidential Taskforce on COVID19 says the government will prosecute anyone who henceforth violates the COVID19 advisories as the lockdown in Lagos and Abuja eased off yesterday.
Boss Mustapha, the chairman of the taskforce who spoke during the daily briefing of the team in Abuja, said the level of compliance to all the guidelines given prior to the ease of the lockdown, is unsatisfactory especially as regards social distancing and the use of mask.
FG receives $311m Abacha loot from US and Bailiwick of Jersey
The Federal government has received $311,797,866.11, the third tranche of the former head of state, late General Sani Abacha loot, from the United States and the Bailiwick of Jersey. Attorney-General of Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, disclosed this in a statement released yesterday by his Special Assistant on Media and Public Relations, Dr Umar Gwandu.
