The award-winning popular Afropop singer, David Adeleke, also known as DAVIDO has disclosed why most kids end up not having money of their own. At the verge of explaining this, he discloses how he lost his mother, Veronica Adeleke at a tender age of 11.

An interview with PulseTV, revealed that Davido was really broke while growing up and his hardwork had brought him this far and not because of his billionaire father’s influence.

According to him, the normal cycle for rich kids was to go to school, graduate and work to impress their parents but, he had to break it by hustling for his own money. He said:

“I was very broke, it wasn’t funny. Do you know that most rich kids no get money? Because, they don’t feel they need to work or aspire to be something”. I fought to do this music. I come from a family that you go to school, graduate and work for pop but, I had to fight”, he added.
