In line with this social distancing, the government of many countries, including Nigeria, has banned public gatherings which include churches and mosques.

Well, Nigeria is a very religious country and a number of citizens are finding it hard to obey the simple instruction of worshiping at home and not going to church or mosque. Just recently, a video made the rounds on social media showing the moment government officials stormed the church of a self-styled General Overseer of Jesus Reign Family church, Apo, and arrested their pastor, U Uden. The pastor had violated government order by holding a church service on March 29, 2020, despite the coronavirus pandemic that is ravaging countries.

An official of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), Ikharo Attah, led the arrest and he made sure to school the pastor using words from the bible to explain how what he did was wrong. Attah impressed Nigerians so much with the way he handled the matter and a number of them have praised him on social media.
